Charlotte Jones R.N.,MS, BSN, CDP, CADDCT,

Charlotte's first career was in the hospitality industry, which became the foundation of her philosophy of teaching and supporting others. Charlotte was trained that everyone deserves the same respect, no matter what their role. Each person's role relies on everyone else doing their job and success or failure is a reflection of the team, not an individual.

She earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from Stevenson University (previously known as Villa Julie College) in Stevenson, Maryland. Charlotte chose a career, in nursing, due to her nurturing nature and the varied disciplines available. She began as a Labor and Delivery Nurse shortly after graduation at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. After moving to Sarasota she worked at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in their Labor and Delivery Unit. Charlotte left the hospital setting in 2008 to work in the community setting. She took on the role as an Administrator for a home health agency that provides care to the elderly. From the beginning of life to the end of life she used Maslow's hierarchy to meet the needs of her patients and their families.

Charlotte earned her Masters of Science Degree with a concentration in Nursing Education from the University of South Florida. As a clinical nurse her greatest joy was educating her patients and their families. As a nurse educator she has the ability to share her knowledge and experience with those that wish to learn. She is always looking for ways to improve people's lives in the community.

Charlotte is an approved provider and/or instructor by the following:

National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, LLC. as a certified dementia practitioner (CDP) and Certified Alzheimer's disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT)

Charlotte co-owned three Comfort Keepers Home Health Agencies for eighteen years. She worked as the Nurse Administrator of the home health agencies for ten years. She set the standard regarding the expectations of the home health aides employed in the field. Her motto is ... If I would not let them work for me, I won't allow them to work for you.  Charlotte created the curriculum for At Your Service Education, LLC. per the guidelines of Florida Commission of Independent Education and the Florida Board of Nursing.
